Social Distancing Rules
We have rearranged the seating areas in the office to ensure social distancing measures are met. Staff should work side by side, or facing away from each other, rather than face to face if possible. Employees are advised if they need to contact someone in the office, use phone/email/teams. The less face to face contact, the better.
Use of the Lifts in the Building Only use the lift if necessary; one person at a time.
Cleaning
DBS has arranged a deep clean of the office weekly where everything in the office will have a thorough clean – including walls, windows and carpet. We have our daily cleaning schedule in place. Wipes to clean frequently used equipment are available in the office. If anyone cough’s or sneeze’s they must do this into a tissue (provided) and dispose of this in a tissue labelled bin which is provided around the office and WASH or SANITIZE HANDS FOR 20 SECONDS and particularly after blowing their nose, sneezing or coughing.
Toilets
The toilets are cleaned by the building maintenance staff. If you have any issues – please email hr@dbsne.com or call HR.
Breaks
The Kitchen area has been redesigned to implement the 2-metre rule to enable employees use of the facility. Employees are aware they may need to queue in the corridor with the provided spacing notices.
Smoking
Any employee smoking outside must be 2 metres apart from another, employees are aware of this (email sent).
Fire Procedure
Use the same fire exits; however, employees must maintain the social distancing rules, where available. When employees arrive at the side car park – they must ensure they are at the far side maintaining a 2-metre space from your colleague, where possible. When employees re-entre the building, maintain the 2-metre rule still applies.
Symptoms of Coronavirus If an employee has a temperature or dry cough they must stay home and report to HR. This is a health and safety measure therefore employees are required to make sure they protect others. Employees will need to follow the isolation guidance as they would currently. Employees must seek medical attention and get tested for COVID-19 and report to HR.
